                                                                     CHAPTER 1

  “Snowflake wakey wakey!” said snowflakes mom Monday morning. “Fall break is over up and at em!” “Fine!” said Snowflake. She was looking forward to seeing Pierre but school, not so much. She got ready for the cold day. She brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, put on her favorite outfit and was out the door. When she got to school she immediatly saw her friend Claireabelle. “Snowflake!” Claireabelle ran to meet her at her locker. “You won’t believe it! Frenchie is in the hospital! She broke her tail bone! SHe had a big operation and it was because she fell off Ryan’s four wheeler! He’s felling bad and she’s just felling sad!” she said so fast she had to repeat it for Snowflake. “What!?!?!?!” ” That is horrible! Now we know why she wasn’t messing with us! My mom is so taking me to visit her!” Snowflake felt bad for her but then Clairabelle snorted, “I’m happy it happened!” ”Serves her right!” Snowflake couldn’t beleive her newly groomed ears! “What but her tail, nobody deserves that!” “I guess your right.” said Clairabelle. “I can’t believe I said that!” The bell rang. It was time for homeroom. When she got there, there were two empty seats. Pierre’s and Frenchie’s. “Oh no! where is Pierre?” She wondered out loud. The teacher walked up and said, “Snowflake a terrible thing happened to Pierre during Fall break. I’d like to speak to you about it after school.” She had said that too slowly and too sadly. Snowflake worried all day and the worst was to come after school. But what was the teahcher going to tell her?

                                                                        CHAPTER 2

   Snowflake met the teacher after class. “I’m sorry to tell you but Pierre was in a terrible wreck. The doctors say he will never walk again.” She began to sob a little. For Snowflake a little sobbing was like one lick of a sucker. She had to sob a lot! “When can I see him?” She managed to say through tears. “Well, you can visit him after school if your mother will drive you. Her mom was off work and her mom would probably take her to see Frenchie and Pierre. I have to go! she thought to herself. When she got out of school her mom surprised her by picking her up. “Hey mom.” she said sadly. “Hi” said her mother. “We are going to the hospital.” “You heard?” snowflake said surprised. “Yes. Pierre’s parents contacted me with the news.”said her mother. ”Now lets go!” Said Snowflake.

                                                Chapter 3

  When Snowflake got to the hospital she immedialtely went to Frenchie’s room. She was afraid to see Pierre. Frenchie was watching a fashion show on her t.v. “Hi.” said Snowflake. ”What are you doing here?” said Frenchie. “I thought I’d check on you. None of your so called real friends are here. How are you?” “Fine” answered Frenchie, “and a little tired. “Oh, then I’ll leave. Get well soon!” she said as she left. Then Snowflake headed to the third floor to see Pierre. “Pierre?” “Come in!” he said. She walked into the room! “Oh Pierre!” She screamed. “It’s fine. He said. I’ll walk. God will help me.” he said trying to calm her down. ” O.k. Just don’t ever ride with your brother again!” They laughed. It hadn’t been his brother’s fault. A drunk driver had hit them on the passenger side where Pierre had been sitting. “I’m alive. That’s good!” “Your right!” she said. “But I’ll have to fight Jessi, Frenchie’s sister on my own. Wish me luck!” “I do!” said Pierre. “Bye!” Snowflake left the hospital feeling much better.

                                                                           Chapter 4

  The next day, Snowflake got up, dressed in her groovy hearts dress, and was out the door with a banana in her hand! She was in a hurry. She had to get to class, and get in her favorite seat before Jessi stopped her in the hall. She walked down the hall as fast as she could. Not a sign of Jessi. She was a happy little terrier. She almost ran to her locker and got her books. Her class was only a few yards away, so she slowed down. Then she was stopped by Jessi! “Hey whimp!” she said in a nasty voice. “What do you want, Jessi?” she asked. “I don’t have time for your bullying!” Jessi was surprised that Snowflake had stood up to her. She walked away and Snowflake smiled. “Victory!” she said. She walked in and got to her seat. She pulled out her library book and read. After school she went home and found a surprising note!                                                                        Chapter 5

                       Snowflake,

                          You have been chosen to model in this years Miss Kinz fashion show.

                          Wear you best clothes and we will contact you afterwards. Meet us at the

                          Kinz stadium in the back at 5:00. See you there and good luck!

 Snowflake could not believe what she was reading! She jumped for joy and was and was out the door. It was 4:45! She got to the stadium and waited in the back. It was cold and wet from the rain that morning. All of a sudden she was pulled from behind! She was being tugged to the prop shed! A tissue was placed over her mouth and nose! She could not scream! She passed out! She woke up at 7:00pm in the prop shed. It was freezing! She was so scared she could not move. She felt for the dor and stumbled out. She ran home as fast as she could.  

                                                                      Chapter 6

  As soon as Snowflake got home she told her mother what happened. Snowflake’s mom called Jessi’s mom and the next day at school Jessi wasn’t there. The day went by quickly and soon Snowflake was home. She asked her mother why Jessi wasn’t there. “She was suspended for a week.” her mother replied. Snowflake was happy she didn’t have to deal with Jessi any longer. The next day at schhol, her happiness ended. Frenchie was there!!! Then, right behind Frenchie Pierre whelled in. “Pierre!” Snowflake shouted. He put a finger to his lips and pointed to the teacher. Oops! she mouthed to Pierre. She was happy Pierre was back. But why did he look so strange?
